The iPhone 8 Plus has a score of 87.1, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia XZ Premium's 79.8 general score. The iPhone 8 Plus construction is a little bit thinner but just a little heavier than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and both of them were released with only a couple months difference. The iPhone 8 Plus has a bit better performance than Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has a lower number of cores and 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a much better looking screen than iPhone 8 Plus, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also has a bit brighter screen, a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840 and a way better pixel amount per display inch. IPhone 8 Plus features a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Xperia XZ Premium has superior battery duration than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 3230mAh battery size instead of 2691mAh. The Xperia XZ Premium has a slightly better camera than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has slower video frame rate and a tinier camera aperture which is not good for shooting pictures and videos in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a way better resolution camera in the back and a much bigger sensor providing a way better image quality.
