Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate has a global score of 94, which is much better than Sony Xperia XZ Premium's general score of 79.8. Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate's body is much newer, but somewhat heavier and much thicker than the Sony Xperia XZ Premium. The Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate has just a bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate also has 14 GB more RAM.
Xperia XZ Premium counts with a more vivid screen than Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate, because although it has much lower brightness and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a way higher count of pixels per display inch. Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate takes a lot better videos and photos than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a much higher video quality, a bigger camera aperture to take better photography in low-light situations, a way bigger camera sensor shooting way better quality photos and videos and a way more MP camera.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate features a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate counts with a superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has an 86% bigger battery capacity.
