Sony Xperia XZ Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s 77.4 score. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is an older and a bit heavier phone than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), but Sony made it just a little thinner anyway. The Xperia XZ Premium has just a little better performance than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a much sharper screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher pixels amount per inch of display, a way higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and way more screen brightness. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 64 GB more internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a superior battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity. The Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low light images and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a camera with much more mega pixels and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
