Xperia XZ Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is a bit better than the Google Pixel 3a's general score of 78.8. Despite of the fact Xperia XZ Premium is older and notably heavier than the Google Pixel 3a, it's construction is still a little bit thinner. Xperia XZ Premium counts with an incredibly better display than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution and a way greater screen density.
Xperia XZ Premium features a bit more powerful processor than Google Pixel 3a. They have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also has an external memory slot that admits up to 256 GB.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low-light photography and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a camera with much more mega-pixels and a larger sensor capturing higher quality pictures and videos.
