The Xperia XZ Premium is just a bit better than Moto G6 Plus, with a global score of 79.8 against 77.5. The Xperia XZ Premium body has the same thickness than Moto G6 Plus, but it's heavier. Xperia XZ Premium has a bit better CPU than Moto G6 Plus, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.

The Xperia XZ Premium features a lot better screen than Moto G6 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much greater screen pixels density and a way higher 2160 x 3840 resolution. The Xperia XZ Premium features just a bit bigger memory to store more apps and games than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ Premium also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 256 GB.

Moto G6 Plus's battery lifetime is very similar to the Sony Xperia XZ Premium one, although the Moto G6 Plus has just 3200mAh of battery size instead of 3230mAh. Xperia XZ Premium takes slightly better photos and videos than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting images or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
