Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is slightly better than the Motorola Moto Z2 Play's general score of 77.4. Despite being the best phone we are comparing, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium design is thicker and incredibly heavier than Motorola Moto Z2 Play. Xperia XZ Premium features a bit more powerful CPU than Moto Z2 Play. They have 4 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores.
Xperia XZ Premium has a much more vibrant screen than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xperia XZ Premium also has a lot better resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a lot higher count of pixels per screen inch. Moto Z2 Play has much more storage to install games and applications than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Moto Z2 Play also has an external memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
The Xperia XZ Premium counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 3230mAh battery size against 3000mAh. Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit better camera than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
