Xperia XZ Premium is slightly better than the Moto Z3, with a 79.8 score against 77.6. Although it's the best phone in our current comparison, Xperia XZ Premium's construction is older, somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier than Moto Z3. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a way better looking screen than Moto Z3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher screen density and a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840px.
Moto Z3 counts with much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Moto Z3 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Moto Z3's processor is just as good as the processing unit in Sony Xperia XZ Premium, both have 8 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Moto Z3, and although they both have a F2 aperture, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also has a way better 19 mega pixels resolution back camera and a way larger sensor taking much higher quality photos.
Xperia XZ Premium features a bit better battery duration than Moto Z3, because it has 3230mAh of battery capacity.
