The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than the Moto Z3 Play's 76.3 global score. Sony Xperia XZ Premium's body is older, thicker and somewhat heavier than Moto Z3 Play. Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a much better screen than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 2160 x 3840 resolution and a much higher screen density.
The Motorola Moto Z3 Play counts with a much better memory for games and applications than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit faster CPU than Moto Z3 Play. Both have a Octa-Core processor and the same RAM amount.
The Xperia XZ Premium features a bit better battery life than Moto Z3 Play, because it has an 8% bigger battery size. The Xperia XZ Premium shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light photography, and they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a larger back camera sensor taking better quality pictures and videos and a way more mega pixels camera.
