Samsung Galaxy A31 is just a bit better than Xperia XZ Premium, getting a overall score of 81.3 against 79.8. Although Samsung Galaxy A31 is a bit thicker than the Xperia XZ Premium, it's just a little bit lighter and also newer. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features an incredibly better looking screen than Galaxy A31, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a way better 2160 x 3840 resolution and a way higher number of pixels per screen inch.
