Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A42 is just a bit better than Xperia XZ Premium, getting a general score of 87 against 79.8. The Samsung Galaxy A42 construction is much newer than the Xperia XZ Premium's, but it's a little thicker and a little heavier. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a bit faster CPU than Galaxy A42. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 2160 x 3840 resolution and a lot higher pixels density. The Galaxy A42 captures clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy A42 also has a much more mega-pixels back camera and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images in low light situations.
The Galaxy A42 features a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 64 GB more internal storage and a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a much better battery life than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
