The Xperia XZ Premium has a score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A8 (2018)'s 79.2 global score. The Xperia XZ Premium construction is just a little thinner but just a bit heavier than the Galaxy A8 (2018), and they were only released 7 months apart. Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018). Both have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
Xperia XZ Premium counts with an incredibly better looking display than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with way more pixels per screen inch and a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840. The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has as much storage capacity for applications and games as Xperia XZ Premium, they have the same internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
