Comparison review
Galaxy M12 is a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, with a general score of 80 against 79.8. Although the Galaxy M12 is a lot newer than the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, it's heavier and somewhat thicker. The Xperia XZ Premium has a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy M12. Both have 8 cores and 4 GB of RAM.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher display density and a lot higher 2160 x 3840 resolution. Xperia XZ Premium has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a camera with lot less mega pixels resolution, and they both have the same aperture, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a much better (4K) video resolution.
The Galaxy M12 counts with much more storage to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy M12 also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
