Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is just a bit better than Xperia XZ Premium, with a global score of 81.2 against 79.8. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is an a lot older and a bit thicker phone than the Xperia XZ Premium, but Samsung made it somewhat lighter anyway. Xperia XZ Premium features just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM memory and a greater number of cores.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a sharper display than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better 2160 x 3840px resolution and a lot better pixels number per screen inch. The Xperia XZ Premium captures clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia XZ Premium also has a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels, a much bigger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos in low light environments.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia XZ Premium both have similar batteries, although the Galaxy Note 3 has a 1% lower battery size.
