Comparison review
Galaxy S9 has a global score of 83.3, which is just a bit better than Xperia XZ Premium's 79.8 score. Although the Galaxy S9 is a little bit thicker than the Xperia XZ Premium, it's somewhat lighter and also newer. The Xperia XZ Premium has a much better display than Galaxy S9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater count of pixels per inch in the display and a higher 2160 x 3840 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a bit faster CPU than Xperia XZ Premium. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM. The Xperia XZ Premium counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy S9, because although it has lower video frame rates and a lot tinier aperture, and they both have the same video resolution, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a camera with a much better 19 MP resolution and a bigger sensor.
The Galaxy S9 has a bit bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy S9 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 400 GB. Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S9, because it has an 8 percent bigger battery size.
