The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact's 79 general score. Despite of the fact Sony Xperia XZ Premium is older and somewhat heavier than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, it's design is still notably thinner. Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a much better looking display than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same brightness, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also has a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840px, a little bit larger display and a lot better screen density.
Xperia XZ2 Compact features a little faster processing unit than Xperia XZ Premium. Both of them have 8 cores and a 4 GB RAM. Xperia XZ2 Compact has a little bit better memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a bit better camera than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the same resolution back facing camera, the same video quality and the same sensor size, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also has better video frame rates. Xperia XZ Premium has just a little bit longer battery life than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 13 percent bigger battery size.
