Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is slightly better than the Xperia XZ Premium, having an 82.3 score against 79.8. Even though the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is newer than the Xperia XZ Premium, it's somewhat thicker and a little heavier. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 features a little better performance than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
Xperia XZ Premium has a way better display than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with much more screen brightness, a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a much higher pixels number per inch of screen. Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a slightly bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 takes much clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also has a larger camera aperture for better photography in low-light environments, a back camera with a way better 48 MP resolution and a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with improved battery life than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
