Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ Premium, getting a overall score of 80.3 against 79.8. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is just a bit thicker than the Xperia XZ Premium, it's just a little lighter and newer. Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a lot better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 2160 x 3840 and a lot higher display density.
Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. They have a Octa-Core processor and a 4 GB RAM. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 shoots much better pictures and videos than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has a back-facing camera with a way higher 48 MP resolution, higher video frame rate, a bigger camera aperture to capture better photography in low-light environments and a bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 counts with a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have an external SD slot that holds up to 256 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 also has 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features longer battery duration than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 24% bigger battery size.
