IPhone 6 Plus has a score of 80.4, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ's global score of 73.5. IPhone 6 Plus's body is somewhat thinner than Sony Xperia XZ, but it's a little bit heavier and was released 2 years before. Apple iPhone 6 Plus features a bit better processing unit than Xperia XZ, because although it has a lower number of slower cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits CPU and an extra graphics processing unit.
The Apple iPhone 6 Plus has a brighter screen than Xperia XZ, because although it has a just a little inferior pixels number per screen inch, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the Apple iPhone 6 Plus also counts with a quite larger screen. IPhone 6 Plus features a greater storage capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
IPhone 6 Plus and Sony Xperia XZ have similar battery durations, although the iPhone 6 Plus also has a 1 percent larger battery size. Sony Xperia XZ shoots better pictures and videos than iPhone 6 Plus, because it has a much larger sensor, a bigger diafragm aperture, a camera in the back with a much better 23 megapixels resolution and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Although iPhone 6 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Sony Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Xperia XZ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy iPhone 6 Plus, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Sony Xperia XZ, letting go some features and specs.
