Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone is slightly better than the Sony Xperia XZ, having a 77.1 score against 73.5. The Asus ROG Phone design is noticeably newer, but a bit thicker and heavier than Sony Xperia XZ. Asus ROG Phone counts with a little more vivid display than Xperia XZ, because although it has a little less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a larger screen and a little bit higher 1080 x 2160 resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone counts with a bit better CPU than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Asus ROG Phone has a much better storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
The Asus ROG Phone features a much longer battery lifetime than Xperia XZ, because it has a 38% more battery size. The Sony Xperia XZ features a very superior camera than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate and a tinier camera aperture which is worse for low light photography and video, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ also counts with a larger camera sensor which gives a better photo and video quality.
Although Asus ROG Phone is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia XZ. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Asus ROG Phone, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xperia XZ, letting go a couple specifications.
