Comparison review
Google Pixel has an overall score of 80.2, which is a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ's global score of 73.5. The Google Pixel body is lighter but just a little thicker than the Sony Xperia XZ, and both of them were released with only 1 months difference. The Google Pixel features a bit sharper display than Xperia XZ, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, the Google Pixel also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch.
Google Pixel features a quite bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XZ, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Google Pixel has a processor that is very similar to Sony Xperia XZ's processor, and although the Google Pixel has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Xperia XZ has a little longer battery duration than Google Pixel, because it has a 2900mAh battery size against 2770mAh. The Xperia XZ shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Google Pixel, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a same size aperture, the same sensor size and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XZ also has a lot better resolution camera.
Google Pixel costs a little more than Xperia XZ, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
