Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4 is better than Xperia XZ, getting an 81.9 score against 73.5. The Google Pixel 4 design has the same thickness than Xperia XZ, but it is a little bit heavier. The Google Pixel 4 has a bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.
Google Pixel 4 has a bit sharper display than Xperia XZ, because it has a little bigger screen, a quite better pixel density and a little higher 1080 x 2280 resolution. The Xperia XZ captures a little bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel 4, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for taking photographs in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ also counts with a back camera with much more megapixels and a larger sensor shooting higher quality photos.
The Xperia XZ counts with more memory for games and applications than Google Pixel 4, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Xperia XZ features just a bit longer battery performance than Google Pixel 4, because it has a 4% greater battery capacity.
The Google Pixel 4 costs more money than Xperia XZ, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
