Huawei Mate 20 is slightly better than the Xperia XZ, having a 79.5 score against 73.5. The Huawei Mate 20 is a a lot newer phone than Xperia XZ, although it is a little thicker and somewhat heavier. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with just a little better processing power than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and 4 more cpu cores.
Huawei Mate 20 features a little bit better screen than Xperia XZ, because although it has a little less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2244 and a larger screen. The Sony Xperia XZ features just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing images and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same sensor size, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia XZ also counts with a way higher 23 mega-pixels resolution back camera.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia XZ, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
