Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is a lot better than the Xperia XZ, getting a 90.9 score against 73.5. Huawei Mate 40 Pro's design is newer, but noticeably heavier and thicker than Xperia XZ. Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a faster processing unit than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has more RAM memory and a higher number of cores.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a little more vivid display than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a little greater pixel number per inch in the screen, a way larger screen and a better 1334 x 2772 resolution. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro counts with a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro takes much clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia XZ, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot better quality pictures, a bigger aperture to take better low light captures and videos, a camera with lot more mega-pixels and better video frame rates.
