Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X is a lot better than Xperia XZ, getting a overall score of 89.4 against 73.5. Even though Huawei Mate X is noticeably newer than the Xperia XZ, it's notably heavier and incredibly thicker. Huawei Mate X counts with a little sharper screen than Xperia XZ, because although it has a little bit worse screen pixel density, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels and a lot bigger display.
Huawei Mate X counts with a superior memory to install games and applications than Xperia XZ, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate X counts with a little better performance than Xperia XZ, because it has 4 more cores and a greater amount of RAM.
The Xperia XZ captures much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a lot tinier sensor shooting lot worse quality photos and videos, a much worse 23 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing images and videos in poorly lited situations.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 2900mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia XZ. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Xperia XZ, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
