The Huawei P30 Lite is a bit better than the Xperia XZ, with a global score of 77 against 73.5. The Huawei P30 Lite body is much newer, just a little bit thinner and a little lighter than the Xperia XZ. Huawei P30 Lite counts with a screen that is just as good as the Xperia XZ one, because although the Huawei P30 Lite has a bit worse display density, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2312 and a bigger screen.
The Huawei P30 Lite features a little better processing power than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster) and 1 GB more RAM memory. Xperia XZ features a superior camera than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a camera in the back with a worse resolution, a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and a tinier sensor shooting lower quality photos, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 video quality.
Huawei P30 Lite features a superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage. Huawei P30 Lite counts with just a little better battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a 3340mAh battery capacity.
Although Huawei P30 Lite is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia XZ. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Xperia XZ, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
