Huawei P40 has a score of 86.4, which is much better than Xperia XZ's 73.5 overall score. The Huawei P40 is a much newer cellphone than the Xperia XZ, although it's a little thicker and a little bit heavier. Huawei P40 has just a bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has a quite worse pixel density, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a larger screen.
Huawei P40 features more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XZ, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. Huawei P40 features a bit better CPU than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a higher amount of RAM and 4 more cpu cores.
Huawei P40 has improved battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity against 2900mAh. Huawei P40 has a better camera than Sony Xperia XZ, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 also has better 60 frames per second video frame rate, a lot larger back camera sensor, a larger aperture and a way better 50 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
