Comparison review
LG G5 has a global score of 76.1, which is slightly better than the Xperia XZ's 73.5 general score. Even when the LG G5 and the Xperia XZ were released only a few months apart, the LG G5 is just a little bit thinner and just a little lighter. LG G5 counts with a bit better CPU than Xperia XZ, and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the LG G5 also has a higher amount of RAM.
The LG G5 features a slightly better display than Xperia XZ, because it has a higher display pixel density, a bit bigger screen and a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. LG G5 counts with a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage, the LG G5 also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
The Sony Xperia XZ counts with just a bit longer battery life than LG G5, because it has 2900mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh. Sony Xperia XZ takes slightly better videos and photos than LG G5, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ also counts with a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a lot more mega-pixels camera.
Although LG G5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia XZ. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Xperia XZ, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
