LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is better than Xperia XZ's overall score of 73.5. The LG V30S ThinQ construction is newer, a little thinner and a bit lighter than the Xperia XZ. The LG V30S ThinQ features just a little better performance than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has more RAM and a higher number of cores.
LG V30S ThinQ features a bit sharper display than Xperia XZ, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels, a larger screen and a better display pixel density. The Xperia XZ shoots slightly better photos and videos than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light captures and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video quality, the Xperia XZ also counts with a back facing camera with a way higher resolution and a lot bigger camera sensor.
LG V30S ThinQ features a much greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage. LG V30S ThinQ counts with a little longer battery duration than Xperia XZ, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more than Sony Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Sony Xperia XZ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the LG V30S ThinQ, else you can save some money and buy the Sony Xperia XZ, giving up some features and specs.
