Moto G8 Plus has a global score of 77.6, which is slightly better than Xperia XZ's global score of 73.5. The Moto G8 Plus design is way newer than Xperia XZ's, although it is somewhat thicker and heavier. Moto G8 Plus counts with just a bit better processing power than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a higher number of cores (although they are slower) and more RAM memory.

The Xperia XZ has a little more vivid display than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a little lower 1080 x 1920px resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of display. The Motorola Moto G8 Plus has a much bigger storage for apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and more internal memory capacity.

The Moto G8 Plus features a very superior battery duration than Xperia XZ, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Moto G8 Plus takes much clearer pictures and videos than Xperia XZ, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Moto G8 Plus also has a camera with way more mega pixels, a larger sensor shooting better quality videos and photographs and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better captures and video in low light environments.
