Moto Z2 Force Edition has a general score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ's 73.5 global score. The Moto Z2 Force Edition is a newer cellphone, and it's also a lot thinner and lighter than the Xperia XZ. The Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition features a bit better looking screen than Xperia XZ, because it has a little larger display, a higher pixels density and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution.
Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition has a much greater memory for games and applications than Xperia XZ, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Moto Z2 Force Edition features just a bit better performance than Xperia XZ, because it has more RAM memory and 4 more processing cores.
Sony Xperia XZ counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has a 6 percent more battery capacity. The Sony Xperia XZ shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Moto Z2 Force Edition, and although they both have a F2 aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ also has a much more mega-pixels back facing camera and a way larger sensor shooting way better quality videos and photos.
Although Moto Z2 Force Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia XZ. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Moto Z2 Force Edition, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xperia XZ, resigning some features and specs.
