Comparison review
The Motorola One Hyper has an overall score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ's general score of 73.5. Motorola One Hyper's body is noticeably newer than Sony Xperia XZ's, but it's just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. Motorola One Hyper has a bit faster CPU than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a larger amount of RAM and 4 more cores.
The Xperia XZ counts with a bit sharper screen than Motorola One Hyper, because although it has a lot smaller display and a bit lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch. Motorola One Hyper features a superior storage to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that supports up to 1000 GB.
The Motorola One Hyper has a much longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Motorola One Hyper takes a little bit better photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola One Hyper also has a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a bigger aperture.
