Nokia 9 PureView has a global score of 76.4, which is a bit better than the Xperia XZ's global score of 73.5. Nokia 9 PureView's body is notably newer and a little bit thinner, but also a little heavier than Xperia XZ. Nokia 9 PureView has just a bit better looking screen than Xperia XZ, because it has a larger screen, more pixels per inch in the screen and a lot higher 1440 x 2880 resolution.
Nokia 9 PureView has just a little better processing power than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has more CPU cores and a larger amount of RAM. The Xperia XZ captures a bit better photos and videos than Nokia 9 PureView, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xperia XZ also counts with a way more megapixels camera and a larger back-facing camera sensor.
Nokia 9 PureView has a greater memory capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Nokia 9 PureView features just a little bit longer battery life than Xperia XZ, because it has 3320mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
Although Nokia 9 PureView is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia XZ. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Nokia 9 PureView, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xperia XZ, giving up a couple specs and features.
