Comparison review
The OnePlus 8 Pro is just a bit better than Xperia XZ, having a score of 77.2 against 73.5. Although OnePlus 8 Pro is newer than Xperia XZ, it is a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a better screen than Xperia XZ, because it has a much better 1440 x 3168 pixels resolution, a lot larger display and a just a little higher display pixels density.
OnePlus 8 Pro features a bit faster processor than Xperia XZ, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores. OnePlus 8 Pro features a greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory.
The OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a much better camera than Xperia XZ, and although they both have the same video definition, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has a lot larger sensor capturing way higher quality videos and photos, better video frame rates, a larger aperture to take better images in low-light situations and a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
OnePlus 8 Pro counts with a very superior battery performance than Xperia XZ, because it has a 4510mAh battery size instead of 2900mAh.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia XZ. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Xperia XZ, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
