The OnePlus 8 UW has a global score of 75.9, which is slightly better than the Xperia XZ's general score of 73.5. OnePlus 8 UW's construction is way newer and a little thinner than Xperia XZ's, but it's heavier. OnePlus 8 UW counts with a more vivid screen than Xperia XZ, because although it has a bit worse amount of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a bigger display and a slightly better 1080 x 2400px resolution.
The OnePlus 8 UW counts with a greater memory capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory. OnePlus 8 UW features a little bit better performance than Xperia XZ, because it has more RAM memory and a higher number of cores.
OnePlus 8 UW captures better videos and photos than Sony Xperia XZ, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a bigger back camera sensor, a bigger diafragm aperture, better video frame rates and a camera in the back with much more megapixels. OnePlus 8 UW counts with a much longer battery life than Xperia XZ, because it has a 48% larger battery size.
