Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Fold is a lot better than Sony Xperia XZ, getting a score of 97.6 against 73.5. Although the Samsung Galaxy Fold is incredibly heavier than the Sony Xperia XZ, it's somewhat thinner and also noticeably newer. The Xperia XZ counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a way worse 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better pixel number in each inch of display.
Galaxy Fold has a little faster processor than Xperia XZ, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a greater number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Xperia XZ, because it has a 51% larger battery capacity. Xperia XZ counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy Fold, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rate and a lot tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light photography and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia XZ also counts with a larger sensor providing a higher image quality and a camera in the back with a much higher resolution.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia XZ. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Fold, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xperia XZ, resigning some features and specifications.
