Comparison review
The Galaxy S5 Plus has a global score of 78.1, which is slightly better than the Xperia XZ's 73.5 overall score. The Galaxy S5 Plus design has the same thickness than Xperia XZ, but it is somewhat lighter. The Galaxy S5 Plus has a better screen than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display.
The Galaxy S5 Plus features a little bit better processing power than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 4 cpu cores, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with an extra GPU. Sony Xperia XZ features a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ also has a larger back-facing camera sensor, a way more MP camera and a larger camera aperture to take better low-light photos and video.
Xperia XZ has a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 16 GB more internal memory and a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Xperia XZ counts with a bit better battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 2900mAh battery size instead of 2800mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is also cheaper than the Xperia XZ.
