Comparison review

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is slightly better than Sony Xperia XZ, with a overall score of 80.1 against 73.5. Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a notably newer phone than the Sony Xperia XZ, although it is a lot thicker and a lot heavier. Galaxy XCover FieldPro has just a little better hardware performance than Xperia XZ, because it has more RAM and a larger number of faster cores.

Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a bit more vivid screen than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixel quantity per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The Sony Xperia XZ captures much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a much tinier camera aperture which is worse for taking photos and/or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a camera in the back with a much higher 23 mega-pixels resolution, a larger sensor and a lot higher 3840x2160 video definition.

Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ, because it has 32 GB more internal storage and a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a much longer battery life than Xperia XZ, because it has a 55 percent bigger battery size.

Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Sony Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Sony Xperia XZ. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Sony Xperia XZ, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
