Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Flip is a lot better than the Sony Xperia XZ, getting an 88.5 score against 73.5. Galaxy Z Flip's construction is a lot newer and somewhat thinner than Sony Xperia XZ's, but it's also somewhat heavier. The Galaxy Z Flip features a bit more powerful processor than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has more cores and more RAM.
The Galaxy Z Flip features a little sharper screen than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a bigger display, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2636px and a little bit better pixels count per inch in the display. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip counts with a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
The Xperia XZ takes clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has worse video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is worse for low light images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ also counts with a lot more MP back camera and a larger sensor.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip counts with a bit better battery life than Xperia XZ, because it has a 14% greater battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia XZ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xperia XZ, giving up some specifications.
