The Xperia PRO-I construction is a lot newer, but incredibly heavier and a little bit thicker than Sony Xperia XZ. The Xperia PRO-I features just a little better processing power than Xperia XZ, because it has a larger number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.
Xperia PRO-I features a brighter screen than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has much more pixels per inch in the display, a larger display and a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. The Xperia PRO-I has a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1 TB.
The Xperia PRO-I has a much longer battery lifetime than Xperia XZ, because it has a 55% larger battery size. Xperia XZ takes clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia PRO-I, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ also counts with a lot higher 23 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a way bigger sensor.
