Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ, with a 77.6 score against 73.5. The Xperia Z5 body is a little lighter and just a bit thinner than the Sony Xperia XZ, despite of the fact that it was released a little bit over a year before. The Xperia Z5 features a little better processing power than Xperia XZ, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the Xperia Z5 also has an additional graphics processing unit and more cpu cores.
The Xperia Z5 counts with a brighter display than Sony Xperia XZ. Both of them have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, a same size display and a greater number of pixels per screen inch. Sony Xperia Z5 captures a bit better photographs and videos than Xperia XZ, and although they both have a 23 MP camera in the back, the same video resolution, the same back-facing camera sensor size and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has a larger aperture to take better photography in low light situations.
Xperia XZ features a bit bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Xperia XZ also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia XZ feature quite similar batteries.
Although Sony Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia XZ. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z5, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Xperia XZ, resigning a couple specs and features.
