Comparison review

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than Xperia XZ's 73.5 overall score. Despite of the fact the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is older and somewhat heavier than the Xperia XZ, it's design is still just a bit thinner. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a lot better display than Xperia XZ, because it has a bit bigger screen, a lot higher 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution and a much greater screen pixel density.

Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xperia XZ, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has an additional graphics co-processor and a higher number of cores. The Xperia Z5 Premium captures a little bit better videos and photos than Sony Xperia XZ, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a same resolution camera and the same sensor size, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a bigger camera aperture.

Xperia XZ counts with a bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Xperia XZ also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with longer battery life than Xperia XZ, because it has an 18 percent larger battery size.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xperia XZ. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xperia XZ, letting go some specs and features.
