Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has an overall score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ's 73.5 global score. Even though Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus and Sony Xperia XZ were released only a couple months apart, the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus construction is just a bit heavier but also just a little thinner than Sony Xperia XZ.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a bit better looking display than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has a just a bit lower pixels density, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus also counts with a quite larger screen. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a quite bigger memory to install applications and games than Xperia XZ, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features just a bit better performance than Xperia XZ, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus also has a greater amount of RAM. Xperia XZ features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same camera aperture, the Xperia XZ also has a back camera with lot more MP and a way larger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
