Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX has an overall score of 76.2, which is a bit better than the Xperia XZ's 73.5 score. Even though the Xiaomi Mi MIX and the Xperia XZ were released only a couple months apart, the Xiaomi Mi MIX body is just a bit thinner but noticeably heavier than the Xperia XZ. Xiaomi Mi MIX features a bit faster processor than Xperia XZ, and although they both have 4 cores, the Xiaomi Mi MIX also has 1 GB more RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX features a slightly better screen than Xperia XZ, because although it has a bit less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a larger display and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2040px. The Xperia XZ features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same aperture, the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Xperia XZ also has a much more mega pixels back camera and a much bigger back camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
Xiaomi Mi MIX features a greater memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi MIX features a much longer battery performance than Xperia XZ, because it has a 4400mAh battery size.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia XZ. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Xperia XZ, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
