Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a bit better than Xperia XZ, having a 76 score against 73.5. Xiaomi Mi Note 2's design is a bit thinner but a little heavier than the Xperia XZ, and they were released with only 1 months difference. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a bit better processor than Xperia XZ, and although they both have 4 cores, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 also has 3 GB more RAM memory.
Xperia XZ features a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Xperia XZ also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a greater memory for apps and games than Xperia XZ, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a much longer battery duration than Xperia XZ, because it has a 40 percent larger battery size. Xperia XZ captures much clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same video quality, a same resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rate and the same aperture, the Xperia XZ also has a bigger camera sensor.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Sony Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Sony Xperia XZ. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Sony Xperia XZ, letting go some features and specs.
