Comparison review
The HTC One M9 is slightly better than the Xperia XZ1 Compact, with a global score of 77.7 against 74.6. Even being the best device we are comparing, the HTC One M9 is a older, just a little thicker and just a little bit heavier device than Xperia XZ1 Compact. HTC One M9 counts with a way better display than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a much better resolution of 1920 x 1080, a better pixel density and a little bit larger screen.
The HTC One M9 counts with a bit better processing unit than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with an extra GPU and a 64-bits processing unit. Xperia XZ1 Compact shoots slightly better pictures and videos than HTC One M9, because although it has a back facing camera with a worse resolution and a lower (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to take better photos and videos in low light environments and a larger sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact features slightly more storage to install games and applications than HTC One M9, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB. HTC One M9 counts with just a little better battery life than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has 2840mAh of battery capacity against 2700mAh.
