Comparison review
The LG G5 has a general score of 76.1, which is a little bit better than the Xperia XZ1 Compact's 74.6 general score. Even though the LG G5 is older and heavier than Xperia XZ1 Compact, it's design is still a lot thinner. Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact features a little faster processing unit than LG G5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact also has a greater number of cores (and also faster).
LG G5 has a sharper display than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a larger display, way more pixels per inch of screen and a much better 1440 x 2560 resolution. The LG G5 features a much bigger storage for apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the LG G5 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB.
The Xperia XZ1 Compact captures clearer videos and photos than LG G5, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking images or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xperia XZ1 Compact also counts with a larger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photos and a camera in the back with more MP.
LG G5 features a bit longer battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a 4 percent larger battery size.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the LG G5 is also very cheap compared to the other devices.
