Comparison review
LG Q8 has an overall score of 77.2, which is slightly better than the Xperia XZ1 Compact's 74.6 general score. Although the LG Q8 and the Xperia XZ1 Compact were released with only 2 months difference, the LG Q8 construction is somewhat thinner but also a little heavier than the Xperia XZ1 Compact.
The LG Q8 features a much more vibrant display than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a little bit bigger display, a way greater display pixel density and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px. The Xperia XZ1 Compact counts with a little faster processor than LG Q8, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xperia XZ1 Compact also has a larger number of faster cores.
The LG Q8 features a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the LG Q8 also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The LG Q8 has just a little better battery life than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has an 11 percent larger battery capacity.
Xperia XZ1 Compact counts with a slightly better camera than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XZ1 Compact also counts with a more mega-pixels back facing camera and a larger sensor capturing higher quality pictures.
