The LG V30S ThinQ has a global score of 82.5, which is much better than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact's overall score of 74.6. LG V30S ThinQ's body is extremely thinner but a little bit heavier than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, and both were only released with a few months difference. The LG V30S ThinQ features a more vivid screen than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a much larger display, a much higher pixels amount per inch of display and a much higher 1440 x 2880 resolution.

The LG V30S ThinQ features a bit better processing power than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the LG V30S ThinQ also has more RAM. The Xperia XZ1 Compact shoots a little bit better photographs and videos than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XZ1 Compact also counts with a higher 19 megapixels resolution camera and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

LG V30S ThinQ counts with a much better storage to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal storage. The LG V30S ThinQ has superior battery duration than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.

LG V30S ThinQ costs a lot more money than the Xperia XZ1 Compact, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
