LG Velvet has a score of 87.1, which is much better than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact's general score of 74.6. The LG Velvet design is way newer and thinner, but a lot heavier than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact. The LG Velvet and Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact count with extremely similar processing units, and although the LG Velvet has a higher amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
LG Velvet features a slightly better looking display than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels, a bit better amount of pixels in each display inch and a lot bigger screen. The LG Velvet features a better camera than Xperia XZ1 Compact, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG Velvet also has a back-facing camera with a lot better 48 mega-pixels resolution, a bigger aperture and a bigger camera sensor taking higher quality videos and pictures.
The LG Velvet has a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory. The LG Velvet features a way better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a 4300mAh battery size instead of 2700mAh.
