The Moto G 5G Plus has a score of 82.6, which is much better than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact's global score of 74.6. Although Moto G 5G Plus is a lot heavier than the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, it's a bit thinner and extremely newer. Motorola Moto G 5G Plus features a little bit better screen than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a higher display pixel density, a lot higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a lot bigger screen.

Xperia XZ1 Compact features a bit superior CPU than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus. Both have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. The Moto G 5G Plus features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB.

The Moto G 5G Plus shoots better videos and photos than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Moto G 5G Plus also has a way more mega pixels camera in the back, a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality and a larger camera aperture to take better photography in low light environments.

Motorola Moto G 5G Plus features a much better battery lifetime than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has an 85 percent bigger battery size.
